Charitable Organization for Human Aid (COHA) is dedicated to providing essential services to vulnerable communities, improving lives, and making a positive impact around the world.
When disaster strikes, we mobilize quickly to provide immediate relief to affected areas. COHA delivers essential supplies, such as food, water, medical aid, and shelter, ensuring that those impacted can begin to rebuild their lives.
COHA strives to bridge gaps in healthcare access, particularly in underserved and impoverished regions. Our healthcare initiatives focus on delivering medical supplies, services, and building sustainable health infrastructures in the most challenging environments.
Education is one of the most powerful tools to break the cycle of poverty. COHA’s educational services focus on providing access to quality education, scholarships, and resources to children, youth, and adults in need.
COHA’s food security programs ensure that families and individuals have access to nutritious food, helping to combat hunger, malnutrition, and food insecurity.
Access to clean water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene education is fundamental to improving health outcomes. COHA’s WASH programs address these essential needs through infrastructure development and community education.
Our economic empowerment programs help individuals and families break free from poverty by providing access to resources that enable sustainable livelihoods.
COHA is dedicated to advocating for the rights and dignity of vulnerable populations, particularly those facing discrimination, inequality, and abuse.
We believe in a sustainable future, and our environmental initiatives work to protect natural resources, promote eco-friendly practices, and help communities adapt to climate change.
COHA believes in the power of communities to transform their own futures. Our community development programs are designed to foster inclusion, encourage active participation, and improve the quality of life for everyone.
COHA GLOBAL will engage political groups in discussions to educate electorates or citizenry on their manifesto policies and their importance to national development.
COHA GLOBAL will serve as a pivot in reminding the government of their policies as stated in their manifesto to the citizenry and keep the government in check.
COHA GLOBAL will engage the media in sending out messages to reach out to the populace about what the organisation stands for and what our aims, objectives, vision and mission statement are.
The organisation will involve the community and rural development agencies at their local level in every project that we are embarking on.
The following stakeholders will be involved at the local level (community-based chiefs, assemblymen and women, queen mothers and market queens) in community-level-based projects in health, education, sanitation, hygiene and infrastructure.
The COHA GLOBAL will combine with the government and other agencies to support training more youths.
In short, apprenticeship programmes are with their master craftsmen and women.
This programme is to enable the youths to set up their vocations in their various communities as they continue to receive the necessary support for vocation development.
COHA GLOBAL will embark on peace and security interventions through education by involving the necessary stakeholders.
The security agencies like the police, prisons, immigration, fire service, etc., and the DISEC team in certain security matters in which the local communities must be involved.
This project is to deepen the relationship between the security services and civilians as partners in peace and security enhancement in our communities to check crime, but rather not as enemies.
The organisation will work with health agencies to educate the population on certain diseases and epidemic outbreaks and educate the youths on drug abuse and its effects on human life on pre-tertiary and tertiary school campuses.
COHA GLOBAL will extend our community engagement with home visits of members and non-members in various communities that the organisation operates in.
This project is to involve our recruited (volunteer) staff to ensure that domestic violence between couples and child abuses is curb at the bare minimum to bring happiness to homes.
COHA GLOBAL will serve as a combination between governments and citizenry, advocating research about government policies that will enhance the lives of the citizenry.
COHA GLOBAL will develop good proposals for collaborating partners like the government and donor agencies that will enhance the lives of the citizenry through research teams.
COHA GLOBAL will embark on media and community engagement about the interpretation of Ghana’s Constitution and also involve the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) to make citizens aware of their human rights.
This is to deepen the democratic structure of the country, where citizens know what their rights are, and to enhance peaceful co-existence.
